Jennifer Joanna Aniston (February 11, 1969) is better known by her stage name Jennifer Aniston, is an American actress, producer, and director. Her birthplace is Sherman Oaks Los Angeles California. John Aniston, and Nancy Dow were her parents. They were actors from the time she was a child. Her godfather, the actor Telly Svalas was a friend of Jennifer's dad. His acting career led her all over the U.S. Then, in New York her parents got divorced, and she was given control of her child. The school she attended was the Rudolf Steiner School when she was only six years old. This Waldorf-style school inspired by the philosophy and ideas of Rudolf Steiner. She is a painter who was a master at what she did. Her work was displayed as part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Aniston made the decision to pursue acting when she went to see the Broadway production titled the Children of a Lesser God. Her acceptance was granted to The New York High School for Actors aged 15 years old. After finishing her studies at the school, she began working for the restaurant chain called The Jackson Hole located in Manhattan. The success of her performances brought to her being a part of several Off-Broadway musicals, including For Dear Life at New York Public Theater and Dancing On Checker's Grave. Los Angeles was her new home in 1989, as she searched for new opportunities. Before beginning the 90's she appeared on several TV shows.
