The Washington Post covering football, basketball, multiple Olympics and Grand Slam Tennis. Nichols began a nine year time with ESPN which saw her win two Emmy Awards, and featured on many of ESPN's top programs, including NFL Countdown and SportsCenter. Additionally, she worked as a correspondent for Monday Night Football on the network. Then she moved on to CNN and Turner Sports. Nichols was a reporter at TNT in the time period reporting on NBA broadcasts such as regular season games, playoffs or All-Star teams. Apart from covering for TBS and TNT, she also reported on baseball and golf broadcasts and Final Four on CBS. This is only the second nomination for the honor for a female among more than 200 nominated contestants.
